"Adding to oneself shall raise you higher.
Strangers join together to inspire.
This is the mystery of the world deciphered,
the very laws of alchemy entire."
- Edith Kizphyrus
On the top of Mount Yor in the depths of its caverns lies a notorious pit named the Well of Edith. Ages ago the Grandmaster Synthesist Edith Kizphyrus built the well to house her and her life's work, the Sinners Cauldron. A mysterious artifact capable of eluding all of the consequences associated with using the forbidden arts. With this cauldron, Edith performed many miracles for decades to come. Yet she vanished in the blink of an eye one odd evening when lightning struck the top of the mount 18 times in a row. Ever since that day a statue has been present at the bottom of the well. It has been rumoured to strike down those who use cauldron leaving them dead or disfigured beyond repair.
Will you take this risk in search of perfection?

Love the design of everything you've done, you've created a completely cohesive and unique style which fits with your game very well. Congrats!
Thank you!
I somehow understood what was going on, well done!
Nice! Thanks for playing!
This was very confusing for me but it was really fun to play. I don’t understand what the objective is, but I was able to make a potion and give it to the eye creature. The polish on this piece and the amount of work gone into it for a short jam is insane.
Even reading the GDD, I’m still quite confused how the alchemy and rouse system work. The complexity isn’t bad, but if you add to this I think you might need to introduce aspects of the system throughout the game as part of a progression system.
I haven’t played a game of this genre before, so I might just not know about what to expect.
Also, the shaders are stellar, definitely worth the bit of stutter. I heard you can just load all the shaders in a 3D scene before booting the main menu in order to just force stop shader stutters. I think Miziziziz does that in Wrought Flesh.
Music and SFX really add to the game-feel, so much polish!
Thank you for the feedback! Sorry about how vague it is haha, I need to focus more on my tutorializing in my future projects
this was fun, I hope you consider continuing with it after the jam :3
Thanks for playing!
